6/03/2010 - Razzie Winners Announced!!

It's the day before the Oscars - You know what that means...this years Razzies have been announced of course.

Serving the film industry by (dis)honoring the worst movies of the past year, this year's Razzies winners are as follows:

Worst Picture of 2009: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Worst Actress: Sandra Bullock - All About Steve
Worst Actor: All three Jonas Brothers - Jonas Brothers: The 3-D
Concert Experience
Worst Screen Couple: Sandra Bullock & Bradley Cooper - All About Steve
Worst Supporting Actress: Sienna Miller - G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
Worst Supporting Actor: Billy Ray Cyrus - Hannah Montana: The Movie
Worst Remake/rip-off or sequel: Land of the Lost
Worst Director: Michael Bay - Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Worst Screenplay: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

And this year the Razzies featured a few special awards as it is their 30th anniversary:

Worst Picture of the Decade: Battlefield Earth
Worst Actor of the Decade: Eddie Murphy
Worst Actress of the Decade: Paris Hilton

No real surprises with any of the winners. With so many nominations it was fairly obvious Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen would take out a few big categories. One surprising (ish) category though is worst actor - being that the Jonas Brothers movie is a concert...no plotline or acting...just being themselves singing - they must really suck at being themselves.

Battlefield Earth takes out Worst film of the decade - what a coincidence we have a review up for that film today (see it here)...not really a coincidence...I predicted it would win and made sure it was written in time...
